The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights
If we are to defend our rights, we must understand them, and how they are protected by law. The Australian government became a signatory to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights on the 23rd March 1976. We urge ALL Australians to download and read this very important protection for our rights and freedoms. When you know your rights, you can protect them from any attempts by the tyrants in power and refuse to comply with their illegal attacks on us. Download the PDF here:
THe Australian Government is a signatory to this international law. No court can ignore it, the government cannot disobey it. Download and read the entire document, and take special note of Section 19 (1) and (2). This section protects absolutely our right to freedom of speech and freedom of expression:
Article 19
1. Everyone shall have the right to hold opinions without interference.
2. Everyone shall have the right to freedom of expression; this right shall
include freedom to seek, receive and impart information and ideas of all
kinds, regardless of frontiers, either orally, in writing or in print, in the form
of art, or through any other media of his choice.
Compare this original Draft Constitution to the 1900 version
Covering Clause 2 in the draft Constitution that the Australian people voted for in a referendum contains the words, “This Act shall bind the Crown….”. But in the 1901 Constitution that returned to Australia, that vital statement was missing. The British parliament deleted “This Act shall bind the Crown” without initiated a new referendum of the Australian people. Once one party unilaterally alters a contract (read Contract law), the contract is invalid: Null and Void. Therefore, we have not had any valid laws in this country since January 1, 1901.
About 10% of the population voted for this Constitution at the time. Only landowners were eligible to vote, and women were excluded except for some in SA and WA. Aborigines were also excluded.
The crucial words, “This Act binds the Crown” that create accountability were included in this document when it was sent to the London Parliament to be signed into law. But they unilaterally took out accountability by deleting “This Act binds the Crown”. Download the 1901 document and compare them.
